Base-2 Solutions is seeking a motivated Technical Manager to join our prime contract to help lead the day-to-day operations of a DoD/IC Zero Trust effort.

Job Description:
  • Work closely with the program manager and engineering director to understand requirements, define project scopes, and create detailed project plans.
  • Track and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that all projects align with business goals and deliver value to users.
  • Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities.
  • Oversee the team's daily activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.
  • Review and improve existing codebases, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality products.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, version control practices, and continuous integration/deployment processes.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, team performance, and technical challenges to upper management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless integration of applications with other systems and platforms.
Desired Skills:
  • PMP certification
  • Experience with cloud services, RESTful APIs, and backend integration.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
  • TS/SI with CI poly
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 1 years in a leadership or management role.
