We are seeking a Technical Lead - Software Licensing & Monetization to drive innovative solutions for leading software entitlements, licensing, and distribution. This role provides technical leadership, ensures compliance with standard processes, and collaborates with IT partners and product teams to implement effective software monetization strategies.
This is a hybrid role Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate software licensing management solutions, ensuring compliance, security, and alignment with Agilent's IT architecture.
- Design and implement licensing monetization strategies using platforms such as FlexNet Operations (FNO).
- Drive integration between software entitlement management and enterprise IT systems.
- Provide technical leadership for small to large-scale projects and mentor technical teams.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to align solutions with overall business goals.
- Influence product teams on standard processes for distributing and monetizing software.
- Support migration efforts from legacy entitlement systems to modern solutions.
- Communicate technical strategies effectively to global partners.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of demonstrated ability.
- Expertise in software licensing models, agreements, and compliance, particularly for B2B.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and backend scripting (Node.js).
- Solid grasp of AWS services (storage, caching, API gateway, IAM role-based access).
- Experience leading medium to large technical teams and driving enterprise integrations.
- Familiarity with SAP EMS, ServiceNow Software Asset Management, or Revenera FlexNet Operations.
- Knowledge of software monetization techniques and Agile SCRUM methodology.
- Exposure to LLM and prompt engineering is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and user documentation skills.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $121,600.00 - $190,000.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
