Apex Systems is looking for a strong
Technical Lead, for a financial services company in the Collegeville, PA area. We are looking for a Technical Lead who can take design documents and break down into user stories and hours estimation. Work with our developers on issue remediation and help guide the Angular UI issues (hands-on if necessary). The initial project the Technical Lead will be leading is a re-write of a Angular-UI application with a Java back-end. The team will be looking for the Technical Lead to provide leadership but no coding in Java (maybe some light Angular coding help). This project is scheduled for about 6-8 months and during this time the expectation will be the Technical Lead will be ramping up on other .Net based projects. Successful candidate needs to comfortable leading the initial Java based project (they have the coding talent and the technical architect will help with any Java coding issues).
Location: Collegeville, PA Hybrid (On-site) - This role will be required to sit on-site in Collegeville, PA area Tue/Wed/Thr with remote work available on Mon/Fri.

Main Responsibilities: - Understand Business Requirements Documentation (BRD)/functional specifications and develops application based upon specifications.
- Collaborate with project partners to ensure all requirements are met.
- Interact regularly with users to gather feedback, listen to their issues and concerns, recommend solutions.
- Work closely with internal team and external partners to ensure new developments align with roadmap and integrate seamlessly with other platform components
- Handle application rollouts, systems upgrade to acquire new and improved functionality, identity product versions worth upgrading or skipping, balance between business need and vendor recommendation.
- Apply user experience techniques and support ongoing development, implementation and quality checks for existing projects/applications
Required Skills/Knowledge: - Someone who prides in remaining in touch with the latest and greatest in the technology world.
- Expertise in Full-Stack .Net development including ASP.Net 5.x+ (.Net Core), C , Entity Framework, SQL Server, JavaScript, Angular, HTML/CSS.
- 7-10+ years of hands-on development experience in .Net technologies.
- 5+ years of strong UI development on Angular applications with experience with Angular 12+ preferred (client is running Angular 15)
- 2+ years' of true Technical Lead experience leading development teams.
- 1-2 years' of leadership experience of Java based applications would be very beneficial.
- Experience partnering with the Technical Architect and being able to break down design documents into user stories and hours estimations.
- Experience with best in breed code management and documentation practices Authority in usage of Agile Tooling, specifically TFS, Jira, etc.
- Superb communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to have in-depth knowledge of the systems that is being supported. Understand business for which system is being build and used.

- Ability to translate ideas into solutions based on business needs

- Experience mentoring and leading other staff, both onsite and offshore would be required for this role to be successful.
