Job Title: Technical Lead Developer
Location: Richardson, TX (Onsite Mon-Thurs, Remote Fridays)
Work Hours: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM CT (occasionally until 4:30 PM)
Type: Contract (3 Months to Start, Target Extension to 6 Months or Longer)

Lennox Will Sponsor bout the Role - Lennox International is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead Developer to support critical e-commerce and systems integration projects. This role involves driving technical execution across a modern tech stack including Java, SAP Hybris, Angular, Spring Boot, Azure, and Mulesoft. You'll work on both frontend and backend solutions, integrating with systems such as SAP ECC, and leveraging cloud services and containerization in Azure/Kubernetes environments.
- The ideal candidate has strong API design, cloud architecture, and database experience, combined with the leadership to mentor others and maintain high code quality.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the design and development of scalable, performant applications and services using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
- Develop and maintain integrations between SAP Hybris, SAP ECC, and external systems via RESTful APIs, OCC, and Mulesoft
- Implement and manage deployments in Azure Cloud and Kubernetes
- Optimize backend and API performance, including token handling and secure auth flows
- Support hybrid cloud implementations, database interactions ( SQL), and CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain code quality using Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Collaborate with the lead developer and BSA; minimal direct business interfacing due to established PO and BA support
- Ensure technical documentation is maintained and clear for long-term scalability
Must-Have Skills - 8+ years in software development; 2-3+ years as a Technical Lead
- Strong Java development background with expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices
- Experience with SAP Hybris (Commerce Cloud) including OCC APIs
- Strong skills in SQL, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, and GitHub
- Experience working with Mulesoft and SAP ECC integrations
- Kubernetes knowledge and ability to implement/manage clusters
- Deep understanding of RESTful API development and token-based authentication
- Frontend exposure with Angular
- Familiar with cloud/on-prem hybrid architecture
Nice-to-Have - Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (Maven, Jenkins)
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code tools for process automation
- Prior experience in highly integrated enterprise environments with ERP/CRM systems
Team & Process - You'll join a team with a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Scrum Master, QA, and fellow developers
- One-round technical panel interview with lead developer
