Job Title: Technical IT Project Manager Location: Indianapolis, IN Duration: 5+ Months Local candidates will work a hybrid schedule - 3 days onsite at 2N Meridian Street Position will be 100% remote for candidates outside the state of IN Job Description: - The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management, cloud environments, and health care projects, with a focus on delivering innovative ITsolutions.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage high-complexity IT projects within the health department.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution,monitoring, and closure.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, cloud architects, and DevOps engineers.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Coordinate with the helpdesk team to ensure smooth project implementation and support.
- Implement ITSM best practices and manage ITSM projects.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor project performance.
- Ensure compliance with health department regulations and standards.
- Work in a pressured environment handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Provide oversight for a team of approximately 12 individuals.
- Manage large budget-related projects.
- Work with internal and external partners and internal teams.
- Work very closely with the PMO office to ensure compliance with PMI guidelines .
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and higher executive staff,providing regular status reports to all audiences.
Required/Desired Skills: - Strong IT project management experience.
- Proven experience in managing high-complexity projects and delivering successful outcomes.
- Experience with dashboard tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Project management certificate(e.g., PMP).
- Excellent communication,leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in ComputerScience or related fields with ITexperience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Expertise in Azure, AWS,MuleSoft, DevOps, and IT ServiceManagement (ITSM).
- Experience working with solution architects and cloud architects.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and operational projects.
- Experience working in healthcare projects.
- Experience with helpdesk systems and managing helpdesk teams.
