Job Title: Technical IT Project Manager
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 5+ Months
Local candidates will work a hybrid schedule - 3 days onsite at 2N Meridian Street

Position will be 100% remote for candidates outside the state of IN

Job Description:
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management, cloud environments, and health care projects, with a focus on delivering innovative ITsolutions.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage high-complexity IT projects within the health department.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution,monitoring, and closure.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, cloud architects, and DevOps engineers.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Coordinate with the helpdesk team to ensure smooth project implementation and support.
  • Implement ITSM best practices and manage ITSM projects.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor project performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health department regulations and standards.
  • Work in a pressured environment handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Provide oversight for a team of approximately 12 individuals.
  • Manage large budget-related projects.
  • Work with internal and external partners and internal teams.
  • Work very closely with the PMO office to ensure compliance with PMI guidelines .
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and higher executive staff,providing regular status reports to all audiences.
Required/Desired Skills:
  • Strong IT project management experience.
  • Proven experience in managing high-complexity projects and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Experience with dashboard tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Project management certificate(e.g., PMP).
  • Excellent communication,leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in ComputerScience or related fields with ITexperience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Expertise in Azure, AWS,MuleSoft, DevOps, and IT ServiceManagement (ITSM).
  • Experience working with solution architects and cloud architects.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure and operational projects.
  • Experience working in healthcare projects.
  • Experience with helpdesk systems and managing helpdesk teams.
