Job Title: Graphic Designer / Technical Illustrator Location: 320 Congress Street Boston, MA 02210 Autonodyne is a dynamic Boston-based software company working to provide additive autonomy to unmanned vehicles in land, sea, and air domains. The ideal candidate is a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Technical Illustrator with a passion for visual storytelling and transforming complex technical information into compelling graphics. They have strong expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite, and data visualization tools, allowing them to develop high-quality infographics, presentations, and marketing materials. Thriving in fast-paced, high-visibility environments, they excel at collaborating with subject matter experts and leadership to create impactful visuals that support mission-critical initiatives. With a keen eye for design, brand consistency, and strategic messaging, they bring both artistic vision and technical precision to every project. Key Responsibilities: Create high-quality infographics, data visualizations, technical illustrations, and presentations to support mission-critical initiatives. Use design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro), Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio to produce visually compelling materials. Develop graphics for business proposals, program briefings, white papers, events, and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand visuals. Maintain and ensure consistency with brand guidelines, publication standards, and best practices. Support proposal graphic production, including functional block diagrams, operational concept graphics (OV-1s), and rendered visuals. Assist in designing marketing collateral such as brochures, tradeshow booth designs, internal communications, and event materials. Work closely with senior leadership, internal teams, and stakeholders to refine and enhance graphic materials. Provide creative direction, develop design strategies, and ensure all deliverables meet project deadlines. Stay up to date with industry trends, design software, and best practices. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field Experience in graphic design, creative direction, and visual storytelling. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, SharePoint). Ability to interpret complex data, workforce messages, and analytics into clear and effective visuals. Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet fast-turnaround deadlines. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present designs to internal and external stakeholders. A portfolio showcasing a range of design projects is required. U.S. Citizenship required. Must be eligible to obtain and hold a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in graphic design or related field Experience in data visualization, finished intelligence, and infographic production. Familiarity with IC or DoD environments and their communication requirements. Experience developing proposal graphics, marketing materials, and technical documentation. Understanding of brand management guidelines and corporate visual identity standards.
