Overview: Our client, a global leader in designing, manufacturing, and supporting innovative electronic systems for the U.S. government and Israel's Ministry of Defense, is seeking a qualified
Technical Field Service Representative (FSR) to join their team. The Technical FSR will play a key role in supporting technical efforts to develop, maintain, and demonstrate systems for both new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate technical capabilities clearly and effectively
- Conduct lab and field testing of electronic equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues independently in the field
- Contribute to technical design activities, including:
- Providing user feedback to the broader technical team
- Completing design tasks under moderate supervision
- Leading the creation of technical prototypes
- Demonstrate products and offer pre-sales technical support to the Business Development team
- Assist in planning and conducting end-user training sessions for both industry and government clients, including preparing training materials (e.g., presentations, manuals, etc.)
- Support all aspects of customer training and product demonstrations, including system preparation, testing, logistics, and system operation
Qualifications:- High School diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of experience in a technical field. A Bachelor's degree in a technical or business management field is preferred
- Experience in military or government operations is preferred; familiarity with radar and electronic warfare (EW) systems is a plus
- Strong technical background in communication and tactical systems within DoD environments is advantageous
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Experience with electronic hardware and system-level testing and integration
- Knowledge of RF design and experience with RF test equipment (e.g., VNA, Spectrum Analyzer)
- Ability to travel 30-50%, both domestically and internationally
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance is required; an active Secret clearance is preferred
