The Customs Integration Platform is part of the Maersk Logistics & Services organisation. CIP's mission is to provide digital products and technology solutions that deliver the Customs House Brokerage and Compliance services the Maersk offers to its customers.

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the Customer Implementation Team. The role is cross-functional, working with engineering, business development, sales, and customers to drive value. The analyst will join a team of 8 professionals and contribute to improving Maersk's tech offerings. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, collaborative, and efficient in delivering high-quality solutions.

Opportunity

Join the Customs Integration Platform's 'Customer Implementation Team', and help us to deliver our technology solutions for customs house brokerage services to a rapidly growing customer base in North America.

Location: This role will be based in North America (New Jersey/East Coast is preferred).

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize/Lead/Participate in internal/external meetings, travelling as necessary to on/offsite locations.
  • Define project objective, scope and gather prerequisite documentation for select projects.
  • Produce project documentation, including specifications and end user guides
  • Perform detailed analysis to define scope, elicit and document requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements, prioritize work and manage expectations.
  • Identify, define, assess, mitigate and manage risks.
  • Perform business process mapping, business process reengineering and business process analysis.
  • Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to help define work and manage the backlog.
  • Perform quality assurance testing for projects prior to deployment to production.
  • Contribute towards the improvement and standardization of processes and products.
Required Skills and Qualifications

These requirements would make you a great fit for the role
  • Knowledgeable about customs house brokerage and logistics.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst (preferably in Customs House Brokerage).
  • Excellent written communication skills, including ability to clearly explain complex requirements.
  • Ability to switch focus quickly when priorities shift.
  • Ability to convey, receive and share information to ensure mutual understanding internally and externally across all levels.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and work with new software.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the industry and market dynamics, products, services, systems and business processes.

Job Type:

Full Time

Pay Range: $120,000 - $130,000 USD

Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match.

The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
