Job Number: R Technical Baseline Manager The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big-picture thinking to make an impact in the DoD? As a technical baseline manager on our team, you'll work with Booz Allen colleagues and DoD clients to analyze, architect, engineer, integrate, test, and deploy the next generation of resilient Environmental Monitoring (EM) and Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR) systems. You'll develop, integrate, and manage Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products. You'll provide technical advice to senior program managers and executives on space system and segment design and test issues to inform major program decisions. You'll perform systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews, technical evaluations, and requirements verification. You'll analyze problems, develop technical reports, make recommendations, and work with government and corporate stakeholders to implement recommended solutions. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: 5+ years of experience taking a technical change request through the Engineering Review Board and Configuration Control Board lifecycle
Experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to determine the appropriate technical solution for ICDs, Requirements, and other technical documentation
Experience coordinating and hosting technical reviews of ICDs or Requirements with many various stakeholders, and organizing the comments received
Experience adjudicating comments received and implementing them into documentation
Experience with coordinating with multiple external contractors for their technical change requests and determining if those changes directly impact the technical baseline
Experience presenting technical change request material at an Engineering Review Board and answering follow-up questions on the spot
Experience using MBSE tools, such as Cameo
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science Nice If You Have: Experience with OPIR systems or general space systems
Experience using Jira and Confluence for managing change requests
Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems, including Next Gen OPIR, FORGE, WSF-M, or EWS
Experience using MBSE approaches to manage system definitions and te chn ical baselines
Experience with SysML, Enterprise Architect, CAMEO, or DOORS NextGen
Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02
Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
