Role: Technical Architect/ Staff Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX day 1 onsite
Job Type: only Fulltime.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership & Development
- Guide Architectural Design, API design (REST/JSON), interface contracts, and service integration
- Write and review production-level code in Java or .NET and React (as needed)
- Debug critical issues and unblock technical challenges
- Support data modeling and backend design
- Ensure development aligns with performance, scalability, and Azure architecture best practices
- Product & Delivery Leadership
- Guide sprint goals and priorities based on feature readiness and team capacity
- Act as the subject matter expert for developers, clarifying business logic and user flows
- Lead or participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demos
- Identify and communicate delivery risks, scope issues, and blockers
- Track delivery metrics (bug counts, work completed, flow coverage)
- Document key product decisions, user journeys, and technical flows
- Client Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as an escalation point for technical and delivery issues
- Participate in client-facing meetings, demos, and steering committee discussions
- Translate technical tradeoffs and risks into clear, actionable updates for business stakeholders
- Provide input into delivery timelines, resource needs, and product decisions based on real-time engineering feedback
- Team Enablement
- Mentor tech leads and developers on implementation patterns, product understanding and delivery methodologies
- Provide informal feedback on developer performance and team dynamics
- Promote sustainable documentation and knowledge sharing practices
Qualifications: Must-Have:
- 10+ years in web application development with recent experience in a senior or staff role
- Hands-on coding ability in Java
- Frontend development skills with React and TypeScript
- Proven experience designing and consuming REST APIs and microservices
- Strong experience communicating with business and technical stakeholders in client-facing environments
- Experience guiding Agile teams across frontend and backend delivery
- Ability to debug, write, and review code with a focus on reliability and maintainability
- Strong documentation and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience mentoring junior leads or scaling engineering teams
- Exposure to QA workflows, release planning, or compliance in enterprise environments
