By turning biometric data into real-time alerts, OverWatch enables medical and security staff to intervene early-helping prevent in-custody incidents and improve outcomes.While our current focus is within the detention and corrections environment, our long-term vision includes expansion into other safety-critical industries.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our growing team. This customer-facing role will primarily support our largest customer in the Philadelphia area, and the ideal candidate will be based in or near Philadelphia. While there is some flexibility to work remotely, this position requires regular on-site presence at customer facilities, as well as travel within the region and occasionally across the U.S. The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, personable, and eager to grow with a mission-driven company. You will play a key role in ensuring successful deployments, providing technical training and support, and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-touch, on-site and remote technical support to law enforcement and corrections customers.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues and respond to critical customer requests.
• Train corrections officers and facility staff on how to effectively use OverWatch hardware and software.
• Perform system deployments, including installation, configuration, and customer onboarding.
• Support internal product teams with customer feedback and escalate technical challenges as needed.
• Assist the business development team during demos and occasionally handle sales engagements independently.
• Provide training and support for internal team members on technical tools and workflows.
• Travel frequently within the Philadelphia region and occasionally to customer sites nationwide.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of IT support or field service experience.
• Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly with senior law enforcement and corrections professionals.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously in the field.
• Must have a clean background; candidate may be required to undergo and/or perform occasional background checks in coordination with law enforcement agencies.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working within a detention facility is a strong plus.
• Experience in law enforcement, military, or public safety environments is a plus.
• Project leadership or project management experience.
• Proficiency with both MacOS and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (routing, switching, firewalls, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
