ABM is seeking a highly hands-on and technically proficient Technical Account Manager to be based onsite at Miami International Airport (MIA). This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective implementation, configuration, and operational success of ABM's task management platforms, IoT deployments, and other smart technologies supporting airport operations. The TAM will work closely with MIA stakeholders and ABM's internal teams, and will report to the IT Client Technology Operations team. This role requires strong project management capabilities, technical configuration skills, and a client-focused mindset to ensure reliable service delivery and innovation at the airport.
Key Responsibilities - Act as the onsite technical lead and primary point of contact for ABM's technology operations at MIA Airport.
- Configure, manage, and support ABM's task management platforms to align with operational workflows.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain IoT and smart facility devices across airport facilities.
- Work directly with ABM's IT Client Technology Operations team to align MIA's systems with enterprise standards.
- Lead and execute technical projects from kick-off to completion, including scoping, planning, testing, deployment, and stakeholder communication.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in real time, escalating when necessary.
- Gather requirements and feedback from airport stakeholders to guide product enhancements and service improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials for MIA staff and ABM field teams.
- Ensure compliance with airport security, data handling, and safety requirements in all technical activities.
- Monitor performance, provide ongoing feedback, and foster professional growth within the team.
- Coordinate resource allocation and scheduling to ensure project deadlines are met.
Reporting Structure This role reports directly to ABM's IT Client Technology Operations team. The TAM will work closely with central IT leadership and be accountable for the delivery and support of technical solutions customized for MIA Airport, acting as a local extension of the enterprise IT strategy.
Qualifications - Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years in a hands-on technical role such as Technical Account Manager, Field Engineer, or Implementation Specialist.
- Proven experience configuring SaaS platforms and managing enterprise task management tools (e.g., workforce management, CMMS, or facilities platforms).
- Strong understanding of IoT devices and deployment methodologies (Wi-Fi, BLE, gateways, sensors, etc.).
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead full lifecycle deployments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Experience in high-volume environments such as airports, transportation, or public venues is preferred.
- Must be eligible to work onsite at MIA and meet all background and airport security clearance requirements.
