At Future Tech Leaders, we are dedicated to empowering children, particularly those from underrepresented communities, with the tech skills necessary to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Through hands-on workshops, mentorship, and educational programs, we aim to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the tech industry. We are currently seeking passionate Tech Enthusiast Volunteers to join our team and help introduce young minds to the possibilities of technology.
Position Overview:
As a Tech Enthusiast Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to teach kids in various age groups about the exciting world of technology. Whether you specialize in Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Coding, UX/UI Design, Data Science, or another tech field, your expertise can help shape the future of tech by guiding the next generation of innovators. Your contributions will help foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, all while making technology accessible and engaging for young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educational Workshops: Guide children through engaging, hands-on learning experiences in areas like coding, machine learning, data analytics, cybersecurity, UX/UI design, and more. In this role you can lead the workshops or assist with the kids while they are learning. We are open to all volunteers who are passionate about helping kids learn.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Expertise or strong interest in areas such as Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Coding, UX/UI Design, Data Science, or related tech fields.
- A strong passion for teaching and the ability to simplify complex topics for children.
