Duties: Perform routine laboratory functions for handling and disposing of radioactive waste.
Perform dry distillations
Perform routine radiochemistry
Operate analytical instruments for characterizing chemicals
Record keeping and maintaining records of radioactive materials and research data.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. General Chemistry 1 and 2 preferred
Must be able to follow written protocols with high success rates and reproducibility
Must be able to operate software for computers and/or instruments
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or demonstrate acceptable physical strength as required
