We offer competitive pay for the Team Leader position ranging from $14-$21/hr, with a starting rate of $20.67.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage inventory levels strategically to maximize sales, ensuring an efficient ordering process daily.
  • Enhance department sales by delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining product freshness, and ensuring stock availability. Regularly perform date checks.
  • Maintain attractive presentation and pricing standards within your area.
  • Utilize technology for efficient operations.
  • Handle stocking, displays, cashier functions, and cleanliness as required.
  • Open and close CHEF'STORE in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, fulfilling Manager on Duty responsibilities as needed.
  • Exemplify and advocate for our core values and culture.
  • Ensure the store is safe and well-maintained by adhering to safety policies at all times.
  • Address safety concerns promptly and report them to management, resolving issues where possible.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by Store Management.
SUPERVISION:
  • While direct supervision of staff is not required, you will monitor performance and provide real-time coaching to assist associates in achieving their goals.
RELATIONSHIPS:
  • Internal: Interact with employees at all levels within the organization.
  • External: Engage with customers and service providers regularly.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Work is conducted in a retail store that is open to the public, subjecting you to varying weather conditions. Expect a moderate noise level and a temperature range of -10 to 85 degrees. Some elevated work, such as using ladders, may be required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least three years of experience in retail, restaurant, or customer service environments.
  • Preferred supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Proficient in computer use, including word processing and internet navigation.

  • Able to quickly assess and resolve issues effectively.
  • Logical thinking and sound judgment in various situations.
  • Capacity to cultivate professional relationships with clients.

EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Additionally:

  • Expected to handle objects and demonstrate manual dexterity and coordination in general tasks.
This role is eligible for overtime compensation.
