Title: Team Lead Full Stack Engineer

Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time/Perm

Description:

• The Team Lead Full Stack Engineer role involves overseeing engineering teams from product discovery to delivery.

• Responsibilities include designing, developing, deploying, documenting, and maintaining web and backend software solutions.

• The Team Lead will mentor team members, coordinate and drive product features, manage emergency situations, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• This role also entails ensuring high code quality, promoting best practices, maintaining documentation, resolving technical issues, and leading efforts to improve technical debt.

• Additionally, the Team Lead will work with product owners, analysts, designers, and architecture teams to deliver product priorities and assess emerging technologies.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 10+ years of experience in full stack development

• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams

• Proficiency in frontend and backend frameworks

• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles and design patterns

• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

• Proficiency with database management (SQL and NoSQL) and ORM technologies

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies

• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

• Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Desired Skills:

• Advanced degree or relevant certifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience

• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams

• Experience developing modern frontend applications

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms

• Strong presentation skills for communicating technical concepts

• Experience working with vendor partnerships and resolving complex system issues

• Experience in financial technology or similar industries

• Prior leadership experience in building teams and establishing engineering culture

Compensation:
Pay Range:$150000K-$155000K
