Role: Teaching Assistant - ASC
Location: Lancaster, Lancashire
Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: 90 - 120 per day
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant in an ASC school, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with ASC
Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Support students in developing social, communication, and emotional skills
Promote positive behaviour and independence
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should:
Have experience working with children or young people with ASC
Demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Possess strong communication and team-working skills
Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or be willing to apply for one)
Have the legal right to work in the UK
