Job Title: Teaching Assistant

GI Group are now seeking experienced Teaching Assistants within primary and secondary schools to cover temporary or permanent roles in Doncaster. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with both pupils and teachers to create a positive learning environment and help pupils reach their full potential. If you want to make a genuine difference in the lives if young people, this is the role for you.
Main Duties of the Teaching Assistant:
Work closely with pupils to help them reach their full potential
Work with teachers and SENCO to thoroughly implement learning plans that are individualised to the child
Report on learners' progress, identifying any barriers in place
Interact positively with parents and carers on a regular basis
Help develop a nurturing environment always promoting the needs of the child
Role Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
Patience and empathy
Excellent communication skills
The ability to work as part of a team
Flexibility and adaptability to meet students' needs
