Description Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR): Coordinates, tests, and triages break/fixes among workstations, printers, status boards, paper scanners, barcode scanners and faxing from Epic. TDR phase has two objectives: 1. The site needs EPIC capable devices (desktop, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, etc.) for all required workflows 2. EPIC capable devices need to be tested for all documented functions Scope of work: - You and your TDR team will be testing each device in the weeks and months prior to go-live. These devices include workstations, printers, e-signature pads, bar code scanners, and other end-user devices that integrate with the Epic EHR. - You will participate in site visits, walkthroughs, surveying devices, identifying gaps, procuring and deploying new devices, and executing a Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR). - You will be responsible for traveling to Trinity Health locations to Lead a team of 3-5 hardware technicians as well as providing hands-on field support in preparation for their Epic Go-Live. The hardware technicians teams will be following a testing script and will be expected to provide outstanding customer service and hands-on technical support to Trinity Health staff. - You will be given access to EPIC applications, given permission levels necessary to complete testing as well as access to all TIS spaces (voice data closets) and all areas where EPIC devices reside. Lead Responsibilities: - Lead a team of 3-5 hardware technicians - Review and Distribute the testing locations and goals for each day - Support team with any real time escalations (ie. printer mapping, alignment fixes) - Create and modify Team's Excel worksheets - Report daily metrics and completed work to TDR leadership TDR Analyst Responsibilities - Testing workstations and peripheral devices, using Epic software modules and executing Epic test scripts, to ensure printing queues are created and printers are mapped to the correct workstations, and peripheral devices are working as expected. - Providing detailed information on each failed workstation or device, using Epic modules and Epic test-script outputs, to ensure proper and efficient turnaround times for failure troubleshooting and resolution. Understand expected results and document failures effectively based on test script requirements. - Follow-up and retest assigned issues. - Assist with Epic device readiness activities (e.g., device labeling). - Perform end-user device testing at campus locations as directed. - Occasionally interact with clinicians to obtain clarification on the use of devices as it relates to their clinical workflows. - Perform testing on workstations, printers, and peripheral devices using a detailed testing script. - Hours may need to be flexible given availability and access to hospital departments. - The technician will need commute to hospital campuses, physician practices, and clinics as needed.
