We are currently looking for a Tax Senior to join our Tax business who will exemplify our core values. Positivity: Look for good in all situations and people. Team: We make each other better. What you'll be doing: Prepares complex and reviews individual, trust, corporate, partnership, and S-Corp returns requiring advanced expertise. Reviews accounting reviews using balance sheet approach, including making adjusting journal entries to complete trial balance for interim accounting or tax returns. Reviews and updates depreciation schedules for asset additions and dispositions, including identifying appropriate method and life and recording appropriate adjusting journal entries to record depreciation expense and record dispositions. Reviews accruals and other tax schedules as required for accounting review or any tax returns. Proactively assist managers on assigned client groups, including billing support and project management reporting. Train staff through formal trainings and on-the-job training. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. Master's degree in taxation preferred. CPA Certification is a plus or working toward obtaining CPA license. Minimum 2-5 years tax experience in public accounting setting. Minimum 1-3 years managing client relationships.
