Description We are looking for a Tax Senior to join our team based in Kirkland, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for meticulous preparation and review of various tax returns, conducting comprehensive tax planning, and executing technical reviews and research. This role also involves advocating for clients with state agencies and IRS, and contributing to team leadership by focusing on the professional development of staff members. Responsibilities: - Prepare and review various tax returns, including individual, corporate, fiduciary, and partnership - Conduct in-depth tax planning, projections, and research to address specific client situations - Perform technical reviews of federal and state tax returns and research complex tax issues - Document findings and resolve any discrepancies arising from technical reviews - Advocate on behalf of clients with state agencies and IRS, ensuring client interests are effectively represented - Contribute to team leadership by focusing on the professional development of staff members - Use CCH ProSystem Fx, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Ad Hoc Reporting tools in performing tasks - Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations - Conduct compliance audits as required - Develop and implement tax planning strategies. The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 + bonus. Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Life insurance, AD& D, and LTD 401k 4 weeks PTO 10 paid holidays Requirements - Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem Fx software for tax preparation - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting - Experience with QuickBooks for managing financial transactions - Ability to create Ad Hoc Reports for specific business queries - Knowledge of compliance regulations and standards in taxation - Experience in conducting Compliance Audits to ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations - Proven track record in preparing Individual Tax Returns, Corporate Tax Returns, and Partnership Tax Returns - Experience in Fiduciary Tax related to Trust & Estate - Ability to develop and implement Tax Planning Strategies to optimize tax liabilities - Familiarity with tax return preparation for trusts and estates (Tax - Fiduciary - Trust & Estate) - Strong understanding of tax laws applicable to partnerships and experience in preparing Partnership Tax Returns - Knowledge of various tax planning strategies and their effective application.
