About the Opportunity:
A well-established and respected public accounting firm in Southeastern Massachusetts is seeking a talented Tax Senior to join their growing team. This is a confidential search for candidates who are seeking a long-term home in a small-to-mid-sized firm environment that values collaboration, professional growth, and quality client service.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and review a wide range of returns including 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 990
- Serve a diverse client base across industries such as nonprofits, manufacturing, automotive, and small businesses
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting
- CPA or EA candidate (sitting or licensed preferred)
- Proven experience in both preparation and review of tax returns
- Familiarity with ProFx Engagement (Audit) and UltraTax (Tax) software
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
