Position Summary:

The Senior Tax Professional will play a key role within the tax department, collaborating closely with firm leadership, mentoring junior staff, and managing a broad portfolio of clients. This is an opportunity for a technically strong and client-focused professional to step into a leadership path with long-term partnership potential.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts


  • Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services for clients


  • Manage multiple client engagements and deliver high-quality service


  • Support and mentor junior staff, reviewing work and guiding professional development


  • Communicate directly with clients and firm partners


  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration with the firm's consulting and M&A divisions when applicable


  • Stay current on changes in tax law and compliance standards



Qualifications:

  • CPA preferred (or CPA eligible)


  • 3-5 years of tax experience in public accounting


  • Strong technical background in:

    • Corporate and partnership taxation


    • High-net-worth individual, estate, and trust taxation


    • Multi-state tax compliance

  • Strong experience with individual income tax returns


  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills


  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships


  • Experience with business consulting, advisory, or M&A services is a plus
