Tax Preparer

Hybrid Schedule - 2 days in office
The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparation of individual and business tax returns along with some bookkeeping duties. The ideal candidate will have a few years of experience in tax preparation and providing excellent service to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 990
- Resolve tax matters for clients
- Prepare monthly financials for clients (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements)
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks online
- Prepare W2s and 1099s at year-end
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- EA preferred, or willing to attain an EA within the first 12 months of employment
- 2+ years of experience with forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 990
- Experience with Intuit ProSeries strongly preferred
- 2+ years of experience using QuickBooks Desktop and Online preferred
- Proficient with Excel
- Sales Tax experience preferred
- Bookkeeping experience a plus
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
