Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of foreign affiliates to support U.S. international tax computations, including Subpart F, GILTI, foreign tax credits, basis tracking, and E&P studies.
- Oversee the U.S. international tax compliance process in coordination with external service providers.
- Research and assess tax law developments to identify risk mitigation strategies and improve operational efficiency.
- Review tax return components to evaluate and recommend corrective actions where needed.
- Coordinate with external advisors on tax audits, including data gathering, resolution strategies, and broader audit or litigation support.
- Collaborate with business units to understand and monitor their tax positions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in international tax within a large corporate tax environment, public accounting (Big 4 or similar), or industry.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Alteryx is required.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to learn new technical concepts independently or through mentorship.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to self-review.
- Highly motivated with the ability to lead and manage complex projects through to completion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science in Taxation (MST)
- CPA license (preferred but not required.)
- Comfortable navigating complex, high-growth environments.
