As a Tax Manager, you will be an integral part of our dynamic and growing firm. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's success by managing all aspects of our tax operations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and providing strategic tax planning and advisory services. Your role will require a high level of expertise in international and corporate tax, as well as a deep understanding of tax accounting principles. This position is ideal for a seasoned tax professional with a strong background in public accounting, who is looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of tax compliance, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
  • Conduct comprehensive tax research, interpret tax laws, and provide guidance to management on tax implications of business decisions.
  • Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax benefits.
  • Provide tax advisory services to the organization, including advising on the tax implications of proposed transactions and business initiatives.
  • Oversee the preparation of tax accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Manage relationships with tax authorities, external auditors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure the organization's tax policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Proven experience in tax compliance, tax preparation, international tax, corporate tax, tax advisory, tax accounting, tax returns, and tax research.
  • Strong knowledge of tax planning strategies and the ability to apply these strategies in a business context.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation and research software.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
