Tax Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance and planning for our clients, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations while optimizing tax strategies for maximum efficiency. The Tax Manager will also provide guidance and support to staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns for clients across various industries, with a focus on real estate.
  • Develop tax strategies that align with client goals and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Review and analyze tax returns prepared by staff, providing direction and insights for improvements.
  • Stay current on tax law changes and communicate the impact to clients and team members.
  • Oversee tax audits and represent clients in front of tax authorities as necessary.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge in public accounting and tax matters.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, especially in real estate.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
