Tax Manager Location: Miami, FL (Onsite)
Salary: $120,000 - $130,000+ (Depending on Experience) About the Role A growing and dynamic accounting firm in Miami is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its team. This role requires a seasoned tax professional with strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to excellent client service. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in public accounting, be well-versed in tax compliance and planning, and be able to manage complex client needs independently. Key Responsibilities
• Oversee tax compliance and planning for a diverse client base, including individuals, businesses, and potential international and high-net-worth clients.
• Review and manage tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
• Provide strategic tax advice and solutions tailored to client needs.
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of learning and development.
• Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
• Utilize QuickBooks, Excel, and tax software to manage tax preparation and reporting efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and best practices. Qualifications & Experience Required:
• 7-8 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting .
• Bachelor's in Accounting & Master's in Taxation .
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel .
• Exceptional client management and communication skills .
• Proven team leadership experience and ability to work independently.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented , and proactive. Preferred:
• CPA certification.
• Experience in international tax, trust and estates, and high-net-worth individuals .
• Proficiency in ProSystems FX and CCH Engagement software .
