Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:
- Review and manage the preparation of complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and fiduciaries
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients across various industries
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff and senior associates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tax engagements
- Research complex tax issues and prepare written memoranda
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters, deadlines, and planning strategies
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations
- Assist with business development initiatives and client relationship management
- Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on clients
Qualifications:
- CPA license required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's in Taxation preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus in tax
- Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
