Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a multinational publicly traded company to identify a Tax Manager.

Overview of the Tax Manager role:

  • Lead the coordination and review of quarterly and year-end income tax provisions in line with ASC 740, working closely with third-party tax advisors.
  • Assist in drafting tax-related sections of external financial filings, including 10-Q and 10-K statements.
  • Manage reconciliations for tax-related balance sheet accounts, ensuring alignment with accounting and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with financial planning teams to enhance the accuracy of legal entity-level pre-tax income forecasts.
  • Oversee the review of global income tax returns prepared by external partners and evaluate related statutory-to-GAAP differences.
  • Track and analyze corporate tax cash flows, including estimated payments, refunds, and actual remittances.
  • Contribute to strategic tax initiatives, including compliance with evolving global tax regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MST strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate tax, ideally with a mix of public accounting and in-house exposure (but open to all public accounting or all in-house experience)
  • In-depth understanding of ASC 740 and experience with tax provision and financial reporting processes.
  • Familiarity with international tax issues, particularly in a multi-entity environment.
