Job Details
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is required; advanced degrees such as a Master's in Taxation or JD are preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in fiduciary tax planning is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in tax software and financial management tools. Deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, including fiduciary tax matters.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies that align with the company's goals.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic tax planning advice.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing and mentoring a team.
Ethical Standards: High level of integrity and commitment to fiduciary duty.
