LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a private organization with their search for a Tax Director. This role involves overseeing the company's tax strategy and compliance, including managing tax matters for international entities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position
- Ensure compliance with domestic and international tax regulations
- Manage tax filings and reporting for all entities, including international subsidiaries
- Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax-related issues
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address tax matters
- Lead tax audits and manage relationships with tax authorities
- Provide tax planning and support for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax management, including international tax
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with tax software and financial systems
