Candidate Profile:

•   JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record (link removed)>

•   LL.M. in Taxation is required (link removed)>

•   Active Bar Admission in Florida.

•   Strong candidates from major markets that are seeking to relocate to Tampa will be considered (link removed)>

•   24 years of substantive experience in tax law (link removed)>

•  Exposure to complex business transactions, securities offerings, corporate finance, and joint ventures is a plus (link removed)>

•   Large law firm experience highly preferred (link removed)>

•  Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.

•  Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team in a client-service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Advise clients on federal and state tax implications of business transactions , including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and joint ventures.

•  Assist with tax planning, compliance, and structuring strategies for corporations, partnerships, and private equity clients.

•  Draft and review transactional tax-related documents, including partnership agreements and operating agreements (link removed)>

•  Conduct legal research on tax regulations and provide strategic recommendations to clients.

•  Work closely with corporate attorneys on securities, finance, and business transactions (link removed)>
