Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to drive tax compliance and optimization across multiple corporate entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review comprehensive tax returns (federal, state, local, income, sales, motor fuel, property)
  • Develop strategic tax planning approaches in collaboration with external advisors
  • Conduct proactive tax research to identify regulatory impacts and opportunities
  • Manage quarterly and annual tax provision calculations
  • Support tax audits and resolve complex tax-related discrepancies
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Continuously improve tax processes and internal controls

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
  • 3-5 years tax accounting experience
  • Advanced knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas)
  • Strong analytical and communication capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills
