Targeting Analyst with Security Clearance

Job Description Tyto Athene is searching for a Mid-level Targeting Analyst to support a USSSPACECOM Program in Colorado Springs, CO. This position shall perform, document, and track the following J2 Targeting Analyst tasks. Responsibilities: Provides recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives for plans and operations. Performs, documents, and tracks database nominations, creates and updates the database, and upload targeting materials (TMs) into databases to include relevant space / counter-space data into the Modernized Integrated Data Base (MIDB) in a format that can interface with targeting processes and tools to include the Joint Targeting Toolkit (JTT) on a weekly basis. Develops daily target nomination packets, create database records, and database target intelligence products. The Targeting Analyst will produce all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments and assist with combat assessment requirements. Conducts monthly collateral damage estimation, list management, and target strategy development and provide joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements. As a target intelligence analyst within USSC-J2T, responsibilities include: conducting in-depth multi-INT analysis to identify adversary target system vulnerabilities in support of the J2T-TSA Team; providing battle damage assessment and other combat assessment products to the J2T-BDA Team during exercise scenarios; and target level analysis (electronic target folders) in support of USSC J2T-TD Intermediate Target Development (ITD) Team. This position requires proficiency in various intelligence databases, basic usage understanding of the Modernized Integrated Data Base (MIDB), familiarity with Joint targeting doctrine, and a comprehensive understanding of adversary space/counter space capabilities. Required: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience and at least 8 years of relevant experience. Successful completion of Joint Targeting School - Staff Familiarization course, DIA - Joint Intermediate Target Development (JITD) course; or sufficient related experience. Desired: Joint Targeting School Combat Assessment (CA) Course Mil/Gov Intelligence/Analysis training Clearance: Must possess a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph. Compensation: Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $110K-$117K. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
