Tanium Endpoint Management Engineer with Security Clearance

Position Summary
We are seeking a Tanium Endpoint Management Engineer to join our cleared engineering team supporting Fortune 500/1000 clients and Federal programs. This individual will play a key role in the migration from Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and support the full lifecycle of Tanium implementation-from architecture and deployment to optimization and long-term sustainment. This is a senior-level engineering position that requires both deep technical expertise and strong communication skills, with opportunity for growth, mentorship, and ongoing training. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Tanium Endpoint Management solutions. Design, implement, and optimize Tanium infrastructure tailored to customer requirements. Migrate systems from MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) to Tanium. Conduct health checks and provide recommendations for improving system configurations. Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for endpoint performance issues. Support and administer Windows 10 & 11 operating systems in enterprise environments. Leverage PowerShell scripting to automate and streamline operational tasks. Drive OS deployment, upgrades, patch management, and system hardening efforts. Apply ITSM best practices to improve operational maturity and service quality. Work collaboratively with internal teams and client stakeholders across classified and unclassified environments. Required Qualifications
3+ years of Tanium Endpoint Management design and support experience. 3+ years of enterprise-level Windows OS administration (Windows 10/11). Proven experience leading and executing Tanium solution deployments. Hands-on experience with endpoint lifecycle management, patching, and compliance. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills. Ability to work independently and within distributed teams. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and task management capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Preferred Qualifications
Administrative experience with Tanium tools and modules. Familiarity with Active Directory / Entra ID integration and policy management. Security & Clearance
