The Talent Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, implementing, and tracking innovative employer branding and talent awareness, recruitment, and attraction strategies for the Talent portfolio. You will work cross-functionally with our team, partners and vendors to create successful marketing strategies, campaigns, and systems to generate candidates and deliver short-term results while optimizing performance over time to align with the Talent portfolio attraction goals.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assess and Build Talent Attraction Strategies
    • Serve as teammate to perform assessment of company's and partner's current talent attraction/awareness and engagement activities and identify existing gaps
    • In coordination with the talent team, develop an appropriate talent recruitment strategy to address challenges and serve as the marketing subject matter expert to advise on and develop the talent marketing strategy and tactics to solve those challenges, contemplating:
      • How best to reach an intended audience through storytelling
      • Utilizing mix of best in class recruitment marketing strategies
      • Leveraging various channels (e.g. social media, organic, paid, traditional media and career websites and other mediums)
      • Unique value propositions
    • Assess, develop and refine recruitment strategies and tactics for companies and partners. Serve as a strategic advisor and consultant for talent attraction and retention efforts.
    • Support the vetting of companies and projects by evaluating attraction and recruitment tactics. Make recommendations, structure costing and develop customized plans based on company needs
    • Assess and select vendors who are capable of meeting the company and partner needs, attain costing and proposals and negotiate with vendors on behalf of the client
    • Finalize talent plans and work directly with the selected vendor and JobsOhio Talent team members to make recommendations, develop creative briefs and deliver marketing consultation and services
    • Prepare presentations and present marketing plans and reporting to internal stakeholders, clients and partners
  • Execute Talent Attraction Strategy for Select Companies
    • Serve as key member of the team working to advise, consult and support the delivery of recruitment marketing best practices and services
    • Collaborate with internal team and manage external creative agencies (vendors) to curate all assets and collateral, ensuring client brand guidelines, active campaigns and agreed upon strategy is delivered
    • Ensure local, regional, and global campaigns articulate differentiated client positioning
    • Continuously utilize metrics and KPIs to evaluate, enhance, and maximize the candidate journey; make recommendations for further optimization
    • Maintain and build relationships with stakeholders and partners to ensure client's needs are met to satisfaction
  • Develop Talent Attraction Strategies for Talent Portfolio
    • Support Strategy Managers with marketing and attraction insights and plans for talent strategies designed to support multiple companies at a time (e.g. student lead generation, training program marketing, etc.)
  • Contract and Vendor Management
    • Comfortable with sourcing proposals and contract negotiation
    • Ability to draft and understand scopes of work, master service agreements, talent service agreements and other contracts
    • Maintain and build positive vendor relationships and partner with vendors to deliver excellent customer service
    • Work with Contracts and Operations team to review, approve, and dispute invoices. Lead and manage vendor communications to help resolve invoicing issues.
  • Impact Tracking Metrics and Reporting
    • Work with vendors and team members to collect, analyze and approve reporting for delivered tactics
    • Ensure metrics are accurate and reported timely, delivered to companies, partners and clients and memorialized appropriately in systems such as but not limited to Salesforce and Box. Audit accuracy of reporting to ensure data integrity.
    • Advise, consult and support the optimization and efficacy of attraction campaigns and tactics
  • Understand and Explore Marketing and Recruitment Trends
    • Gather, prioritize, and define trends in recruitment marketing, campaigns and intiatives using data and competitive intelligence
    • Stay current on new tools, trends, metrics and resources that are new, evolving or phasing out
    • Monitor across our client base for similarities and lessons learned to continuously improve client interactions and strategies
This position will require some travel throughout the state of Ohio to visit with companies, clients, vendors, and stakeholders as needed etc. Qualifications Experience Requirements
  • 4+ years of recruitment/talent marketing or marketing experience
  • Ability to use data to structure and drive decision making
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and quickly translate insights into actionable marketing strategies
  • Experience working cross-functionally and managing external stakeholders and vendors
  • Ability to comfortably present for and facilitate meetings
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and organization levels
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, work independently driving tasks to completion in a timely and thorough manner
  • Proactively utilize data to inform talent decisions, enjoyment of research and data organization
  • Adjust readily, multi-task, work across teams in a fast-paced environment, learn new tools / systems and adapt to change
  • Build trusted relationships, demonstrate strong oral & written communication both among internal team as well as client-facing through variety of mediums
  • Knowledge related to current employment practices, diverse talent attraction methods and practices
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, media relations, talent acquisition/HR, or related field OR significant relevant work experience in related fields
