Reporting to the Talent & Organizational Development Manager, the Talent Management Specialist helps make sure employees have the support, tools, and learning opportunities they need to grow in their careers. Main areas of focus will be around succession planning, performance management, and leadership development. The Talent Management Specialist will play a key role in building a workplace where development and growth are part of everyday life.

Client Details

Our client is a global manufacturing company with a large presence in Cincinnati.

The Talent Management Specialist must be able to go on-site full-time to the office in Cincinnati for the first six months. The position then moves to a hybrid schedule with three days on-site and two days work from home.

The Talent Management Specialist will partner with multiple internal stakeholders to identify and drive various training initiatives. The Specialist will support the design and implementation of these programs.

Main training areas of focus will include:

Leadership Development: design soft-skill development programs for employees and leaders.

Performance Management: improve the performance management system and use continuous feedback for future development.

Succession Planning: identify high-potential employees for succession planning and curate development plans.

Description

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and align initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to create career development plans and succession strategies.

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and facilitation is required.

  • Hands-on experience overseeing Performance Management processes.

  • Skilled in designing, planning, and coordinating Leadership Development initiatives.

  • Proficient in creating, executing, and evaluating employee development strategies and plans.

  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of accountability for outcomes and impact.
