Ingram Barge Company is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager based in our Paducah, KY locations, and reporting to the Sr. Manager, Talent Management. The Manager, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of Ingram's Talent Acquisition strategy for our Marine based positions. This role will provide leadership to a Talent Acquisition team by implementing best practices and process improvements, to attract, source, and retain top talent, for vessel leadership and high-volume marine positions.

What you'll be doing:
  • Developing recruiting, sourcing and retention strategies and related action plans for our marine based positions while implementing best practices to support the talent needs of the organization.
  • Identifying areas of improvement and proactively seek solutions to ensure the talent strategy aligns with company goals.
  • Building strong relationships with business leaders to best understand recruitment needs.
  • Leading the day-to-day management of marine based recruitment activities of high-volume marine recruiting which includes, but is not limited to sourcing and selecting candidates, and overseeing a detailed post offer process.
  • Leading and directing a team of recruiting professionals to provide a high degree of customer service and a positive candidate experience.
  • Collaborating with applicable teams to accomplish shared goals.
  • Supporting and developing strategies to enhance the company's diversity recruitment strategy through relationship building, attending events/ job fairs, etc.
  • Identifying and managing community-based relationships to drive recruitment strategies and brand recognition for Ingram.
  • Partnering with HR Business Partners, people leaders and senior leadership to determine talent needs and strategy.
  • Using data to make recommendations and influence talent attraction strategies for the mariner-based positions.
  • Serving as the subject matter expert guiding the business in all matters of marine recruitment and selection.
  • Supporting department activities with regular and prompt attendance.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies for hiring
  • 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience in both a high-volume environment
  • 2+ years of experience managing or leading a team
  • Previous experience administering and using an ATS
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time as needed
  • Proven ability in strategizing, prioritizing, and developing creative methods for attracting talent
  • Ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of best hiring practices, applicable laws, rules, and regulations
  • High level of interpersonal skills, customer service, and integrity
  • Proven ability to lead and direct a team
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement
  • Experience working in a marine based organization preferred
