Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer with Active Secret with Security Clearance

Our aerospace client is looking for a Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer with Active Secret Clearance will be working with simulations that represent our AARGM family of missiles. Location: Northridge, CA 91324 (Onsite)
Position: Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer with Active Secret Clearance
Pay Rate: $39.21/hr. - $47.46/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 9 months or longer
Schedule: 9x80 A RESPONSIBILITIES:
-The successful candidate will be working with simulations that represent our AARGM family of missiles.
-The initial focus will be using a newer simulation to predict, analyze and understand performance of the SiAW missile.
-As the embedded software, the simulation infrastructure, and our sensor model are all quite new this task will require significant troubleshooting skills. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-US Citizenship is required.
-Must have an Active DoD Secret level clearance with the ability to obtain a SAP level clearance.
-BS degree in aerospace engineering, physics, software engineering, systems engineering, or a related field is required with 12 years of experience or an MS degree in areas above with 10 years of experience is required.
-Experience specific to weapons system modeling, such as experience with sensor models, relevant environment models, and GNC.
-Experience in using 6DOF simulations for analyzing weapon system performance, including scenario creation and maintenance
-Strong background in C
-Strong background in MATLAB or Python
-Sufficient background in math and/or physics to facilitate understanding of various 6DOF models.
-Experience working in an AGILE management environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience with Anaconda or related tool sets.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
-Experience with Atlassian tool suite or equivalent
-Experience in high performance computing or monte carlo simulations.
-Experience with embedded software development
-Experience in technical or team leadership
-Experience with EVMS
