Systems Integration and Test Engineer Manassas, VA Contract Position $33.90-$38.90/Hour Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. Responsibilities: Support the development, integration, testing, and sustainment of the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) and Multi-Tube Weapon Simulator (MTWS) for U.S. and allied submarine platforms. Collaborate with engineering teams to define, develop, document, execute, and interpret system-level test procedures. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software, firmware, and hardware issues in tactical systems. Develop and execute detailed test cases, track progress, and report results to leadership. Perform Verification & Validation (V&V) testing for corrective changes and new capabilities. Conduct installation, configuration, and validation of systems in lab and field environments. Support formal and informal test events, ensuring alignment with customer requirements. Use electrical measurement tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters for diagnostics. Configure lab environments per technical drawings and port maps. Assist with field support and system testing at submarine homeports (occasional travel required). Collaborate with the logistics team on the development of installation and operation procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and 4+ years of relevant experience. Active or Interim Secret Clearance required. Hands-on experience with at least one of the following submarine systems: AN/BLQ-10, AN/BYG-1, Submarine Weapon Launchers, or AN/BQQ-10. Proficiency in software testing, analysis, and troubleshooting. Strong working knowledge of network configurations, operations, and basic command-line tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Navy or Submarine experience is strongly preferred.
