Description The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos seeks a Systems Integration Specialist to support the Global Solutions Management - Operations II (GSM-O II) contract. This role is pivotal in the Operations, Sustainment, Maintenance, Repair, and Defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN) for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). You will play an integral part in transforming DISA's operational mission through innovative solutions and direct support to mission partners.
Primary Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will include: - Establishing effective environments for the ServiceNow team to facilitate their operations.
- Designing and implementing containers to ensure microservices function harmoniously within a cloud-native application.
- Contributing to the continuous integration and continuous delivery processes for software development.
- Supporting the setup, configuration, and implementation of various ServiceNow modules including ITSM, OMT, TSM, and TSOM.
- Assisting in the design, creation, and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Architecting tool integrations with ServiceNow (e.g., Elastic, Netcool, Kafka).
- Coordinating and supporting application and platform upgrades.
- Addressing and resolving vulnerabilities related to STIGs and security scans.
- Helping design and create streamlined business process flows.
- Collaborating with the ServiceNow development team to propose innovative solutions that align with business needs and strategies.
- Performing tasks necessary for designing and configuring ServiceNow functionalities that meet operational requirements.
- Engaging in business process re-engineering efforts to enhance capabilities integrated into ServiceNow.
- Identifying trends and patterns in customer data to improve user experience and optimize overall network performance.
- Interacting with customers to address technical considerations and resolve associated challenges.
- Ensuring the infrastructure is properly structured with the suitable nodes, storage, and security parameters conducive to hosting ServiceNow.
Basic Qualifications - Requires a BS degree and 12 - 15 years of relevant experience, or a Master's along with 10 - 13 years of relevant experience. Candidates with a Doctorate in a technical field will also be considered.
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance with the capability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Holding a Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II certification within 14 days of start date is required.
- Understanding of ITIL foundations or being ITIL certified is essential.
- Experience in designing and delivering data-driven operational capabilities within a DoD environment, specifically involving secure software application development.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with establishing, configuring, and maintaining technological environments.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Git, and Confluence is necessary.
- Experience working in highly technical and dynamic environments is preferred.
- Willingness to commute to designated sites for primary on-site support as needed.
