Position Overview Systems Engineer serves as a subject matter expert in systems engineering. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise and guidance to support the development, integration, and testing of complex systems, including C5I systems, ensuring they meet program and project goals. Essential Job Function Provide technical guidance and expertise to TMX-PIO stakeholders on systems engineering matters, including system design, development, and integration. Conduct assessments of system software components, including review of design documents, code reviews, and testing, to ensure compliance with system requirements and standards. Assess the integration and testing of complex systems, ensuring they meet performance, security, and other requirements. Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date systems documentation, including system design documents, test plans, and technical reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software teams, systems engineering teams, and HRIT stakeholders, to ensure systems are designed and developed to meet program and project goals. Conduct systems analysis, including risk assessments, to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies. Assess the development and implementation of systems validation and verification plans, including testing and validation procedures, to ensure systems meet requirements and standards. Ensure compliance with system requirements, including performance, security, and other requirements, and identify and report any deviations or issues to stakeholders.
