Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Tyto Athene is searching for a Systems Engineer to support a law enforcement customer in Washington, DC. Responsibilities: Support infrastructure systems on Windows-based platforms Support and maintain high availability, distributed, multi-clustered server infrastructure and systems Responsible for server infrastructure analysis, optimization, and capacity planning Technical writing/creation of formal documentation such as architecture diagrams, technical designs, and SOPs Required: 8 years of general work experience and 6 years of relevant IT experience with 4 years of administration and operations of servers Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Master's degree may be substituted for 4 additional years of general experience. Experience with supporting, operating and maintaining a 24/7 mission-critical data center infrastructure Must have a working knowledge of: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP Microsoft Server Active Directory Desired: Cloud Providers such as AWS and Azure Linux administration Scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) Cloud Providers such as AWS and Azure Windows Server Administration Windows Desktop Administration Citrix Workspace and Apps Clearance: TS/SCI Clearance Required Location: This role is located on client site in Washington DC Compensation: Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $90K-$95K. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
