Overview DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer (SE) to join our team. The SE will be responsible for full lifecycle engineering of Military Sealift Command's ( MSC ) IT systems, ensuring effective design, integration, testing, and sustainment aligned with DoD and Navy standards. The SE will work within both classified and unclassified environments. This position is required to be on-site in Norfolk, VA . Duties & Responsibilities Perform requirements analysis, functional analysis, design synthesis, and developmental/operational testing. Build, configure, and maintain MS Windows-based environments. Develop and maintain system documentation, drawings, and technical procedures. Conduct technical reviews and lead engineering discussions. Support cybersecurity compliance activities (STIG application, patching, ACAS scans). Collaborate with configuration management and cybersecurity teams. Provide engineering support for MCEL operations, MNOC environments, and shipboard communications. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science. Master's degree (preferred); candidates without a Master's degree must possess an additional eight (8) years of directly relevant experience. MCP or MCSE certification with Hyper-V experience. Compliance with DODM 8140.03 (Advanced Systems Developer or equivalent). Minimum SECRET clearance. 5+ years' experience in systems engineering for DOD environments. Desired Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Level III Systems Engineering certification. Expertise in Microsoft Windows 10 LTSC, Microsoft Server 2016, Exchange 2016. Experience in classified lab/test environments. Experience supporting U.S. Navy shipboard communications, control, or IT systems.
