Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

ClearanceJobs is assisting our Government Contractor client with their search for a Systems Engineer to work onsite at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. This is an exciting DIRECT HIRE opportunity to work supporting the U.S. Missile Defense System through the development of modeling and simulation applications used in warfighter training and exercises, concept evaluation, developmental engineering, testing and verification, and assessment. A minimum of active Secret Security Clearance is required. Responsibilities:
Support the development of modeling and simulation software and services for air and missile defense systems
Work in a team environment designing, developing, testing, documenting, and integrating simulation products and services for the WSS ART
Develop requirements, testing new capabilities, documenting new features, and analyzing simulation performance
Work interfacing with WSS (Warfighter Simulations & Services) customers via event support and training events, as well as presenting technical briefings to WSS stakeholders Required
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience
Systems Engineering Lifecycle background including requirements derivation
Working knowledge of Agile and SAFe development methodologies
Working knowledge of Software Development and Support Functions such as Configuration Management, Data Management, and Quality Assurance
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
Experience in applying model-based methodologies to process management
Experience with Cameo for Model-Based Systems Engineering
Active Secret clearance required to start Desired:
Understanding of Modeling and Simulation (M&S), specifically for ballistic missile systems
Knowledge of software design and performance in IT infrastructures, networks and cloud solutions
Current DoD Top Secret clearance with SSBI (SCI eligibility)
INCOSE ASEP, OCSMP Certifications
