Job Description: The Systems Engineer will support the Spatial Solutions team by maintaining cloud-based systems critical to mission operations. The position will focus on the administration of Citrix virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) systems and Windows server environments across multiple cloud-deployed solutions. The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, system configuration, patching, documentation, and operational sustainment activities. Primary Responsibilities: Manage the virtual desktop infrastructure across multiple environments.
Provide systems administration for Citrix/NetScaler and Microsoft Windows Servers.
Troubleshoot complex system and network issues, including user-reported incidents.
Recommend configuration changes to optimize system performance.
Deploy security patches, system updates, and bug fixes.
Author and maintain operational documentation, troubleshooting guides, and SOPs.
Coordinate closely with government and contractor stakeholders.
Conduct security scans, configuration remediation, and compliance reporting.
Support AWS cloud architecture and technologies as part of system operations.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Requires a BS degree and 4 years of relevant experience; Masters with 2 years; or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Active TS/SCI clearance.
DOD 8140 (Security) certification (or equivalent or higher).
Windows Server administration experience.
Experience with Citrix/NetScaler administration.
Familiarity with AWS cloud environments.
Understanding of network administration concepts (subnetting, VPNs, VPCs, firewalls).
Proficient with Git/GitLab and team collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Demonstrated knowledge of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
Desired Qualifications: Experience supporting geospatial product systems.
Citrix certifications.
Desktop virtualization experience.
F5 administration.
Active Directory Group Policy management.
PowerShell scripting and automation.
SAFe Agile Certification.
AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer).
