Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph What You Will Do : Perform systems engineering activities and assist in preparation of a work product in technical process areas associated with ISO/IEC 15288.
Assist in performing systems engineering activities in ISO/IEC Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
Develop and deliver a work product in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas. What You Will Need : An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET/SCI federal security clearance with a Full Scope/Lifestyle (FS) polygraph
High School Diploma or GED and FOUR (4) additional years of general system engineering experience may be used in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
FOUR (4) or more years of systems engineering experience. What Would Be Nice To Have : Bachelor's degree in Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university
-OR- A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university may be substituted for ONE (1) year of systems engineering experience
-OR- A PhD in a Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university may be substituted for THREE (3) years of systems engineering experience.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Powershell, Bash) to automate system processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual tasks.
Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tools to support scalable and resilient system deployments.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and document system designs clearly.
Proactive mindset for troubleshooting complex system issues, quickly adapting to new technologies, and optimizing infrastructure. The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
