TITLE: Systems Engineer with ACTIVE TS/SCI security clearance LOCATION: Aurora, CO 80011 RATE RANGE: $75/hr - $90/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract) DURATION: 12+ months, Contract or Contract to Hire CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret Security clearance issues by the DOD is required No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED POSITION OVERVIEW Provide technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases Decompose requirements, define system interfaces and help determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the test team Provide engineering support and technical direction for the execution of a portion of the programs test program including test processes and baseline definition, test architecture design, verification, and validation Support regression testing across deliverable releases to the program baseline. Support and attend technical reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program REQUIREMENTS Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 5+ years of prior relevant experience (8+ years for the senior role) Active and transferable Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Systems Engineering lifecycle experience with roles and functions, along with specific experience in one or more of the following areas: operations concept development, requirements management, functional analysis/synthesis, interface definition and control, and/or verification and validation Development experience on a government contract Experience with Agile and DevSecOps development methods Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) PREFERRED SKILLS Good oral and written communication skills as well as good collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team environment Experience in Satellite Command/Control, Mission Management or Planning Experience with Agile tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, etc.) Experience working with requirements in DOORS or other requirements databases Experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps in an Agile development environment Scripting knowledge (eg: Python) If you would like to interview for this position, please send an updated resume to Dee Smith, Dee Smith Sr. Technical Recruiter Rates listed are not a guarantee of salary/rate.
