Define and design complex systems components, modules and sub systems. Contribute to the system engineering specification both within the field of one's expertise and broadening into other disciplines. Ensure designs meet market requirement specifications (MRS). Coordinate with project marketing and management to understand sub system requirements. Moderate architecture brainstorming meetings and drive the systems process to down select to a final architecture of a subsystem. Conduct detailed engineering analysis of sub systems using vast knowledge of design concepts and functional requirements pertaining to field of technical expertise and broadening into other disciplines. Assist in creating concepts for architectural design approaches. Evaluate architectures to provide recommendation for best system solution approach. Build and qualify prototypes of new designs or procure entire subsystems from outsourced suppliers and test for compliance with detailed specifications. Identify and troubleshoot a variety of difficult engineering problems in field of technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability. Support System Integration during the assembly and final testing of new product designs. Perform and coordinate tests as per internal as well as industry-accepted reliability specifications. Make suitable design or operational changes as required. Support system engineering projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms and software design, and understand the underlying system implications. Provide remote and onsite support to field support personnel as required. Work on Core electrical for developing new products by introducing new control architecture to cope-up with our own Applied software architecture (common ground architecture). Primary involved in making design thoughts into concepts and, concepts to drawings by using electrical design software. Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts during the build. Tune the control system of various temperature & motion control systems to meet product specification. Develop new temperature controller firmware to meet stringent wafer process requirement. Work with Real time manufactures & high-volume suppliers to ensure critical electrical parts are built to specification. Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in each of the following: 1. Electrical design software such as E3s, AUTOCAD, ORCAD, UGNX & ERP tools for project life-cycle management 2. Working in CAD environment and parts release control by using software like ERP- Teamcenter, SAP, ORACLE 3. Drawing creations in E3s, 3D models control in UGNX 4. New Product Development for Etch & Selective Etch Wafer Fab Equipment (WFE) 5. Selecting and introducing new OEM components for flow, pressure, motion and temperature controllers 6. Programmable logic controllers 7. Temp controllers and I/O controller programming 8. Schematic design per chamber requirements 9. Software interfaces, HMI/GUI control Requirements: Masters degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience as Systems Engineer or related occupation. Alternatively, a Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience as Systems Engineer or related occupation.
